The Robertson Inn
A clever conversion of Australia’s last remaining, fully wood-constructed hotels “The Robbo” partners with local producers to showcase the cream of highlands crops – all served-up with real old-fashioned country service. The conservatory style dining area caters for family lunches as well as keen foodies with a cosy wood fire as well as a play area for kids. Popular for pushing the limits of country-style pub food, the menu includes an aged rib eye that falls from the bone and an incredible parmigiana with local Maugher’s Meats Ham, fresh chicken breast panko crumbed with authentic, house-made chunky Napolitana sauce and parmesan. Local beef cheeks are served with a local black truffle mash during harvest season.
Robertson small farmers take centre stage on the blackboard specials and local grower lunches hosted throughout the year.
