Eschalot has long been the guiding light of fine dining in Berrima and new owners Cass Wallace and Matty Roberts have enhanced its unique appeal, with a whole new look and feel and fresh menus! Head chef Matty is passionate about showcasing the exceptional produce and outstanding wines unique to the NSW Southern Highlands and has introduced exciting new degustation experiences. Much of what’s on the menu comes directly from the restaurant grounds, with plans for the gardens and courtyard to be opened to visitors.

Feast At Berrima
A high end contemporary dining experience in the heart of historic Berrima village, flanked by heritage landmarks like the old White Horse Inn. Stones Patisserie
You’ll find locals lining up for decadent occasion cakes and their favourite sweet treat at this popular local patisserie. Indulge a sweet tooth with rich chocolate cake, a chunky cookie, sticky cinnamon scroll or gluten free fruit tart; or enjoy something savoury from an excellent, seasonally-driven breakfast or light lunch selection. The Courtyard Café
Sensational burgers and great, organic coffee are hallmarks of the family-friendly, Courtyard Café experience. We use local farm ranged eggs from Taluca Park, seasonal fruit and veggies from Highland fresh in Mittagong and bread from Southern Rise Bakery in Moss Vale, among a host of locally sourced ingredients. The General Store & Café
Owned by Italian chef Diego Arata, this is a local dining favourite where a warm, friendly welcome is guaranteed. Stop in for home-style Italian meals or a piece of freshly baked, country-style cake with great coffee and the papers, at this thriving little local hub. The coffee is a Nicaraguan organic roast by Rush, local roasters. Quick and easy meals with an authentic Italian flavour are a speciality. Try home made focaccia, lasagne, porcetta and bombolini – all made with locally, sourced, seasonal ingredients – like Taluca Park eggs and Pork, Living Heart Farm salad greens and vegetables, and jams from Cuttaway Creek.
